James Charles is leaving the drama of 2019 behind him in a big, and very expensive, way.
According to Dirt, the 20-year-old beauty YouTuber kicked off 2020 with a life-changing purchase— his first home!
After renting a $15,000USD a month mini-mansion in Encino for the past year, James has reportedly purchased a sister starter home for a cool $7M USD ($10.4M AUD) in the San Fernando Valley.
The influencer’s new digs is a three-story modern farmhouse-style build that spans just under 10,000 sq ft. and sits on 0.2 hectares of land.
Not bad for his first home.
The purchase marks a new chapter for the viral star, who found himself at the center of Dramagedon 2 last year at the hands of his former best friends, Tati Westbrook and Jeffree Star.
In case you need a recap, fellow beauty guru Tati Westbrook posted a 40-minute long video last year “exposing” James Charles. In her video titled BYE SISTER, Tati claimed that James uses his power and influence to manipulate men into doing sexual favours for him and that he tries to turn straight men gay. She called James egotistical, power-hungry and criticised his parents for allowing him to live alone in L.A. at such a young age with so much fame and wealth. Jeffree Star somehow inserted himself into the mix, supporting Tati’s allegations.
It was a very messy, sad situation and at the end of it all, no one really came out on top.
James’ new mansion is the perfect fresh start— boasting six bedrooms, a maids quarters, a private balcony off the master bedroom, a spa, theatre room, gym, pool and a sports court.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are reportedly his new neighbours.
