Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul have officially split.
According to an Instagram post uploaded by Tana, the two have decided to take a break in order to focus on their own “crazy lives.”
The news comes days after Tana uploaded a 40-minute video called “the truth about everything” during which she opened up about feeling lost since marrying Jake. She revealed that she agreed to an open relationship, hoping it would make her a “cool” wife. She didn’t realise that meant Jake would be sleeping with a new girl every night.
Throughout the video she maintained that she still loves Jake, a sentiment she defends in her Instagram post announcing their break up.
“i will always love Jake and everything we did. i’m grateful to know throughout this i’ve made a best friend for life & found someone to do life with when no one understood me,” she wrote in her caption.
In the video, Tana also shared her desire to reconcile with her traumatic childhood in 2020 and deal with her addictions. She said she doesn’t feel she’s been completely honest with her audience throughout her years on YouTube because she’s kept her demons hidden and that she’ll be changing that in the new year.
Tana has also changed her name from Tana Paul back to Tana Mongeau across social media.
