Looks like the party’s over for the Sway House boys.
Since early May, most of the Sway House traveled (during a pandemic, no less) from their L.A. mansion to an Air BnB rental in Cedar Springs, Texas where they’ve been partying with other TikTok stars through the lockdown.
The boys were allegedly arrested Monday while on a road trip with Josh Richards, Quinton Griggs, Anthony Reeves, and Griffin Johnson.
Why were Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler arrested?
According to Insider, Bryce was charged with possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. This falls under a class B misdemeanor which is punishable for up to 180 days in jail or a $2,000 fine.
Bryce’s bond was $5,000.
Jaden, on the other hand, was charged as a felon on two accounts. The sheriff’s office reportedly confirmed that Jaden was charged with possession of 4 to 400 grams of a controlled substance in penalty group two and possession of 2 to 4 ounces of marijuana.
Substances that fall under group two include hallucinogens and stimulants.
Jaden was charged with a second-degree felony. This means he could spend between 2 and 20 years in prison or be fined up to $10,000.
Jaden’s bond was $11,500.
It appears the boys have since been released on bond. Both tweeted and since-deleted short messages to fans— Bryce wrote, “im back” and Jaden wrote, “hi.”
Jaden’s father left a comment on TikTok to fans, writing “Hey Tik Tok folk! Thx for all the prayers for Jaden. Not gonna share a lot of details right now but Jaden and the boys are going to be ok. More later.“
Video clips captured by fans who witnessed the arrest have started circulating social media and #FreeSway is now trending on Twitter.
There are also rumours that Bryce took the fall for fellow Sway House member Josh Richards. As Josh is Canadian, being arrested could get him deported.
However, it appears Josh’s girlfriend Nessa Barrett maybe denying these rumours, as she tweeted out “don’t speak on situations that don’t involve u.”
Sway House’s management company, TalentX Entertainment, have not publicly commented at the time of publication.
