From our phones to the television screen, TikTok stars are taking us behind-the-scenes of life at The Hype House.

TikTok’s Hype House had landed a Netflix reality show that will follow the lives of some of the platform’s biggest creators. According to the Hype House Instagram account, it seems the show will star several huge influencers including Larray, Alex Warren, Kouvr, Chase “Lil Huddy” Hudson, Sienna Mae Gomez, Jack Wright, Hype House manager Thomas Petrou, and YouTube star Nikita Dragun.

The show has seemingly been in the works for a while. In August 2020, Deadline reported that members of the notorious content collective had struck a deal with Wheelhouse Entertainment for a docuseries called The Hype Life. It has not been confirmed if that will remain the title of the show with Netflix on-board.

Forming in December 2019, The Hype House is considered to be the first TikTok creator house and has acted as a blueprint for a slew of L.A. content collectives since its inception. At the helm is 22-year-old former Team 10 member Thomas Petrou, who acts has house manager to ensure the day-to-day runs smoothly. Just months after The Hype House exploded onto the scene, Thomas found himself at the center of a legal battle when founding member Daisy Keech claimed Thomas was controlling of their business ventures, refused to give her recognition as a co-founder, and was allegedly hiding money from the other house members.

Thomas refuted several of Daisy’s claims with receipts and The Hype House has been relatively drama-free since.

While Netflix has not yet announced a release date, fans are already speculating that the series will likely not include the house’s controversial partying amidst a global pandemic.
