Kanye West is threatening to pull out of Coachella following a dispute with Billie Eilish.

The controversial rapper took to Instagram today to call out the 20-year-old for comments she made at a recent concert when a fan became ill and required an inhaler.

“Relax, relax, it’s okay,” Billie told the crowd as she temporarily stopped the show. “We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be okay before I keep going.”

While Billie said nothing about Travis Scott or the Astroworld tragedy, video footage from the concert was shared on Instagram account @rapseatv with the headline, ‘Billie Eilish dissed Travis Scott at her Concert After she Stopped The Show To Give Her Fan an Inhaler’. Ye reposted this headline on his account, asking Billie to apologise to Travis.

“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED,” he posted in the caption, referring to Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld festival that left 10 people dead and hundreds injured after a crowd surge.

Following the fatal event, Travis faced intense scrutiny for continuing to perform despite the panic that ensued.

Several videos taken by concert-goers showed attendees attempting to get the attention of Travis and event producers, including two fans who climbed up onto an AV platform and alerted the camera operators that “someone is dead” in the crowd and begged them to stop the show.

Other videos showed the rapper watching paramedics and police officers remove unconscious bodies from the crowd while continuing to perform.

Ye finished by threatening to pull out of Coachella if Billie doesn’t apologise for allegedly dissing Travis. “AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM,” he wrote. Billie Eilish, Kanye West, and Harry Styles were announced as the 2022 Coachella headliners back in January.

Billie quickly responded to Kanye’s accusation via Instagram comment, clarifying that she “never said a thing about Travis”.

“Was just helping a fan,” she explained.

Ye nor Travis have addressed the situation further at the time of writing.

There is no word on if the Donda artist is still set to perform at Coachella.
