Megan Thee Stallion is taking on the beauty industry.
Off the back of a wildly successful year— including a winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BETs, a new single with Cardi B that broke this internet this week, a collab with Beyoncé, and landing the cover of Variety— the rapper has just announced her latest role as brand ambassador for cosmetics powerhouse Revlon.
“HOTTIES YOU ARE LOOKING AT REVLON’S NEW GLOBAL BRAND AMBASSADOR,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “We definitely have some hot things coming soon for all my hotties and I’m so excited [for] all of y’all to live bold with me #revlonxmeg.”
A beauty partnership is a natural fit for the performer, who often does her own glam for shoots— including her Revlon announcement.
The collaboration, which has been in the works since 2019, is set to roll out this month. Revlon’s Global Brand President Silvia Galfo explains that the brand was drawn to Megan because of her confidence and attitude. “When we first approached her about a partnership nearly a year ago, we were drawn to her confidence and fierce ambition as much as her power to hold nothing back,” Galfo said in a press release. “She loves to express herself with makeup and is a constant inspiration to her fans on living boldly. It’s that authenticity and unapologetic spirit that we admire, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Revlon family.”
The announcement comes just one day before the head Hottie shocked fans with the iconic WAP music video featuring Kylie Jenner.
To say Megan’s on top of her game right now would be an understatement.
