The makeup brand we need!
Beauty guru Patrick Starrr announced via Instagram this morning that he’s finally launching his very own beauty brand called ONE/SIZE.
The brand is affectionately named after Patrick’s mantra that “makeup is a one-size fits all”— a phrase the Filipino influencer asked fans to film themselves saying back in January to promote his reveal. Fans from all over the world submitted clips, which have been spliced together to create Patrick’s big announcement.
After seven years as one of the industry’s leading beauty influencers, Patrick’s decision to launch his own brand seems natural. The YouTuber has notoriously worked closely with MAC Cosmetics, partnering with the brand for multiple collections. This is the first time Patrick will be going out on his own.
“ONE/SIZE is a love letter from me to you,” Patrick said on Instagram stories. “Makeup is a one-size fits all and I truly believe that…that sits behind this brand. And it’s a full-on cosmetics brand that I’m so excited for you guys to see.”
“This is all for you, for all my queens, for all my LGBTQ+ family, for all my POCs— I love you and I’m so excited to see every launch.”
To bring the brand to life, Patrick partnered with incubator Luxury Brand Partners. It will be exclusively sold at Sephora.
According to WWD, ONE/SIZE will be a “social-first” brand that brings “all-encompassing diversity” to the beauty industry. The brand has reportedly been in the works for years, with safety and product quality their top priority.
“ONE/SIZE is diversity, variety, for everyone,” Patrick told WWD.“This is an overweight, bald, Asian American man. But I’ve somehow been able to break through the glass ceiling to be celebrated. It is all-encompassing diversity and I think that is gonna be something special to LBP and Sephora.”
ONE/SIZE will be available from July 17th only at Sephora.
