Australian rapper turned international rockstar, The Kid LAROi, jump-started the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) this past Sunday alongside Justin Bieber, performing ‘Stay’ and ‘Ghost’ before announcing his 2022 End of the World Tour.

The 18-year-old, alongside Bieber, took the stage Sunday by opening their set repelling down from the ceiling onto the Barclays Center stage in Brooklyn, New York. The duo sang ‘Stay,’ which has been No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart for the past seven weeks straight.

LAROi connected with Bieber after the 27-year-old sent LAROi a DM via Instagram. “He just DM’d me one day on Instagram and was just like, ‘You got the sauce’, and I responded back and was like, ‘Yo, what’s up? I’m a big fan’,” LAROi told NME Magazine.

Hours after LAORi’s big debut TV performance he told Billboard in a statement that he is “beyond excited to share this experience with you all…It’s always been a dream of mine to headline a global tour. I cannot wait to see my fans all around the world and give them something that they won’t ever forget. It’s been a long time coming.”

Kid LAROi is set to perform all three chapters of his F*uck Love project. LAROi’s End of the World Tour is set to kick off on Jan. 29, 2022, in Phoenix, AZ at the Arizona Federal Theatre.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 17th, exclusively on Ticketmaster.
