Alix Earle has had a year filled with highs and lows.
After skyrocketing to TikTok fame in recent months for her laid-back GRWM makeup videos, the 22-year-old has now confirmed that she split from former Yankees baseball player, Tyler Wade.
“We haven’t been together for a hot minute,” Alix said on TikTok live. “I’ve just been hiding it from you guys because I didn’t feel like dealing with it right now. Even stuff I posted of me and my boyfriend—we were not even dating like a week or two ago.”
On why they broke up, Alix said they had “been fighting for a bit”.
“I just was not happy with the way I was feeling. He wouldn’t post me…We went to a wedding and got all these good photos together and two selfies of him, and he was like, ‘Oh how many pictures should I post?’ and I was thinking, ‘Aw he’s going to post me’,” she continued.
Alix and Tyler dated for three months. The creator revealed she had a baseball player boyfriend in a GRWM video posted on September 10th.
Despite her newfound TikTok fame, Alix has said she plans to finish her degree at the University of Miami.
Though it’s sad her relationship with Tyler didn’t work out, this is just the start of Alix’s booming influencer career and there’s no doubt she’ll be just fine.
