TikTok Exposes Mikayla Nogueira For Alleged “Nasty” Instagram Comments To Jaclyn Hill

The backlash keeps coming for TikTok star Mikayla Nogueira.

Amid recent controversy over out-of-touch remarks she made about being an influencer, the beauty guru has come under fire again after TikTok users exposed old comments Mikayla allegedly wrote on Jaclyn Hill‘s Instagram content.

Creator @openlyfake was amongst the first to post a video exposing Mikayla for supposedly posting mean comments on the YouTuber’s Instagram photos over the years.

The video has since been deleted.

“Must be nice to be rich and all you do is film videos for YouTube,” Mikayla allegedly wrote on a video Jaclyn shared of her bedroom in 2018.

On a photo of Jaclyn and her now-fiancé, Jordan Farnum, Mikayla reportedly commented, “I’m not into that man bun,” referencing Jordan’s hairstyle.

On several other posts, she apparently stuck with a simple, “Yikes”.

This TikTok was stitched by Texas-based creator Elisa Tam, who claimed she fact-checked the video and shared a screen-recording of the comments. She then posted a follow-up TikTok, showing screenshots of Mikayla’s alleged comments on Jaclyn’s Instagram to the sound of Mikayla saying, “I literally just finished working, it’s 5:19. Try being an influencer for a day, try it.”

Elisa’s second video went viral, reaching over 2.8 million views in one day.

ICYMI, a resurfaced clip began circulating TikTok this week of Mikayla complaining about being an influencer to her millions of followers. In the video, which was posted in 2021, Mikayla said, “I’m feeling like a f—ing asshole today, so I’m going to fire back at people because I’m tired.”

“Every single day, I get up at 6AM. I spend about 5-6 hours filming video content that ranges from 3-4 videos and then I spent a few hours editing that video content,” she clapped back. “Then I have to work on my other social media profiles, whatever it may be.”

Mikayla went on to say that she’s then in meetings from 12-5PM, claiming she “literally just finished working” at 5:19 that day.

“Try being an influencer for a day, try it. Because the people who say it’s easy are so far out of their minds. Try it for a day,” she challenged.

The majority of the reposted videos have since been removed.

TikTok user Sabeen Aliah then joined the discourse, posting a video about the evolution of Mikayla’s comments on Jaclyn’s content.

Referencing Elisa’s video, she said she went to Jaclyn’s Instagram, looked through the comments, and “confirmed all the comments from the video” were still up at the time she was recording.

Sabeen went on to show that Mikayla’s comments on Jaclyn’s Instagram content allegedly shifted from “nasty” to nice as Mikayla’s influencer career began to take off.

“In this post, she’s commenting ‘yikes’ and this was in 2019. And then here, in 2021, about two years later, she’s commenting ‘come on I wanted one so bad’ talking about [Jaclyn’s] lipstick,” she said over screenshots of the comments.

“And then here, in 2020, she said ‘you posted this without putting the [lipstick] in the caption knowing damn well everyone was gonna ask what lip.’ And then in 2021 again, she’s commenting support on a video that Jaclyn had made.”

Sabeen said she understands that people can grow and change, but it’s interesting that Mikayla went from commenting negativity on Jaclyn’s posts, to commenting support for Jaclyn “after she starts getting a following on TikTok.”

Several users in Sabeen’s comment section have called Mikayla hypocritical for making a snide remark about Jaclyn becoming “rich” off making YouTube videos in 2018, to then turn around and complain about how challenging it is to be an influencer just a few years later.

Sabeen’s video has reached over 645K views at the time of writing.

Centennial Beauty was unable to fact-check the validity of these comments, as they were seemingly removed shortly after the TikTok videos were published.
