YouTube is set to host their first ever beauty summit bringing together beauty gurus, celebrities and other influential figures to discuss all things glam. The YouTube Beauty Festival will premiere on May 14 as a free virtual event, and the lineup is already looking promising!

The star-studded event will feature appearances from both celebrity beauty brand owners and viral beauty stars alike; bringing together the likes of Miranda Kerr, Pharrell Williams, Paris Hilton and Millie Bobby Brown with YouTubers like Manny MUA, Patrick Starrr and Emma Chamberlain. TikTok star Hyram Yarbro is also set to attend.

The festival will be hosted by YouTube’s Head of Beauty and Fashion, Derek Blasburg, who told People the event would be all about celebrating the history and diversity of beauty on YouTube.

“As we continue to strive for inclusivity and equity across the beauty industry at large, I wanted to make sure voices from across the space are being heard,” he said.

The day will feature segments and panels that cover some of the most exciting frontiers of beauty. Some of the segments already announced include Ask A Drag Queen with Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change, a Black Beauty Founder Round Table with YouTube’s Head of Beauty Creators, Chanel Tyler, and a History of Beauty panel with the OG beauty guru herself, Michelle Phan.

“What started as a small community has grown into the largest style video platform in the world. We’ve seen creators transform from small-town makeup gurus to become their own media empires. I’m especially excited about the creation of YouTube’s official beauty festival because it gives us the opportunity to spotlight diverse creators, amplify new and unique voices in the space, and usher in a new era of beauty on the platform where it all began,” Derek said in a press release.
